Praying from Matthew 6:20 relating to Eternal, Wealth, Security

Dear God, please help me to focus on laying up treasures in heaven rather than on earthly possessions. May I invest my time, energy, and resources into things that have eternal value and significance. Help me to resist the temptation to accumulate material possessions that will eventually fade away. May my heart be set on things above, where moth and rust cannot destroy and where thieves cannot steal. Thank you for the promise of eternal life and the hope of heavenly treasures. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal;
Matthew 6:20

This is a Command. The verse instructs the reader to store their treasures in heaven rather than on earth, where they can be destroyed or stolen.
