Praying from James 5:2 relating to Wealth, Corruption, Decay.
Dear Lord, please help me to not be consumed by the pursuit of material wealth. May I not place my value and worth in possessions that will ultimately fade away and become corrupted. Instead, may I focus on storing up treasures in heaven that will never perish. Help me to be content with what I have and to use my resources to bless others. May my garments be a reflection of my inner character and not just a display of my external wealth. Thank you for your provision and may I use it wisely for your glory. Amen.
Verse: Your riches are corrupted and your garments are moth-eaten.
James 5:2
This is a Command. The verse is a rebuke to those who have allowed their wealth to decay and their possessions to be destroyed. It is a call to repentance and a warning against the dangers of materialism.
