Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that I will be baptized in the Holy Spirit. Just as John baptized in water, I pray that you will fill me with your Holy Spirit. I ask that you pour out your Spirit upon me, not many days from now, so that I may be empowered to live a life that is pleasing to you. I trust in your promise and I eagerly await the day when I will be baptized in the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: For John indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
Acts 1:5

This is a Promise. The verse promises that the reader will be baptized in the Holy Spirit in a few days.
