Dear Lord, I remember Your word that John baptized in water, but You promised that we will be baptized in the Holy Spirit. I claim this promise today, Lord. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, that I may be empowered to live a life that is pleasing to You. Help me to walk in Your ways and to be a witness for You in this world. Thank You for Your promise, Lord. I trust in Your faithfulness to fulfill it in my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
