Dear Lord, I thank you for the gift of baptism in water, which symbolizes our cleansing and commitment to follow you. But I also claim the promise that you will baptize us in the Holy Spirit, filling us with your power and presence. I pray that you would pour out your Spirit upon me, that I may be empowered to live a life that honors you and bears fruit for your kingdom. May your Spirit guide me, comfort me, and empower me to be a witness for you in all that I do. Thank you for your promise of the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and I pray that I may experience it fully in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
