Father God, I claim the promise that when hands are laid on me, I will receive the Holy Spirit. I ask that you fill me with your Spirit, that I may be empowered to live a life that glorifies you. May your Spirit guide me, comfort me, and give me the strength to overcome any obstacle that comes my way. I trust in your promise and believe that you will fulfill it in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
