Father God, I come before you today claiming the promise that when hands are laid on me, the Holy Spirit will come upon me and I will speak with other languages and prophesy. I ask that you fill me with your Holy Spirit and empower me to boldly proclaim your truth to the world. May my words be a testimony of your love and grace, and may they bring glory to your name. Thank you for your promise and for the gift of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
