Prayer based on Acts 13:16. Themes: preaching, audience, fear

Dear Lord, I pray that you give me the courage to stand up and boldly proclaim your truth to those around me. Help me to gesture with my hands and speak with conviction, just as Paul did when he addressed the men of Israel and those who fear God. May my words be heard and received by those who need to hear them, and may they be drawn closer to you as a result. Thank you for the example of Paul and for the power of your Holy Spirit that enables us to speak your truth with boldness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: Paul stood up, and gesturing with his hand said, “Men of Israel, and you who fear God, listen.
