Dear Lord, we pray that the message of your love and salvation spreads far and wide among the people. May we never be afraid to speak your name and share your truth with others. Help us to boldly proclaim your goodness and grace, even in the face of opposition and threats. May your Holy Spirit empower us to be your witnesses and ambassadors, shining your light in a dark world. We ask for your protection and guidance as we seek to fulfill your mission. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: But so that this spreads no further among the people, let’s threaten them, that from now on they don’t speak to anyone in this name.”

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to threaten people who speak in the name of Jesus.
