Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you have made in John 5:35. May I be like the burning and shining lamp that John the Baptist was, shining your light and truth to those around me. May my life be a reflection of your love and grace, drawing others to you. And may those who see your light in me be willing to rejoice in it, not just for a while, but for eternity. Thank you for the privilege of being a witness for you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
