Prayer based on John 1:7. Themes: Witness, Testify, Light

Dear Lord, I thank you for sending a witness to testify about the light, so that all might believe through him. I claim this promise for myself and for those around me who are still in darkness. May we all come to know the truth and believe in you through the testimony of your faithful witnesses. Help us to see the light and to walk in it, so that we may glorify your name and share your love with others. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: The same came as a witness, that he might testify about the light, that all might believe through him.
John 1:7

This is a Promise. The verse promises that through the witness of John the Baptist, all might believe in the light.
