Dear Lord, we pray that we may become witnesses of your resurrection, from the baptism of John to the day you were received up from us. Help us to share your love and message with others, and to be a light in the world. May we be faithful and true witnesses of your power and glory, and may we always give you the honor and praise that you deserve. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Acts 1:22

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to become a witness with the apostles of Jesus’ resurrection, starting from the baptism of John until the day he was received up from them.
