Dear Lord, I thank you for your promise that you will stand by me just as you stood by Paul. I pray that you will give me the courage and strength to testify about you wherever I go, just as Paul did. Help me to be a bold witness for you, and to never be afraid to share your love and truth with others. I claim your promise that just as Paul testified in Jerusalem and Rome, you will also guide me to the places where I can share your message. Thank you for your faithfulness and for always being with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: The following night, the Lord stood by him and said,“Cheer up, Paul, for as you have testified about me at Jerusalem, so you must testify also at Rome.”

This is a Promise. The Lord promises Paul that he will testify about him in Rome, just as he did in Jerusalem.
