Praying from Acts 23:10. Themes: Persecution, Protection, Violence.

Dear Lord,

As we face great arguments and conflicts in our lives, we pray for your protection and guidance. Just as the commanding officer feared for Paul’s safety, we too fear for our own safety and the safety of those around us.

We ask that you command your soldiers to come down and take us by force from among the chaos and bring us into your loving embrace. Help us to find refuge in your arms and to trust in your plan for our lives.

May we always remember that you are with us, even in the midst of turmoil and strife. Give us the strength to face our challenges with courage and grace, knowing that you are by our side.

In Jesus’ name we pray,

Amen.
