Praying from Acts 21:37. Themes: Communication, Language, Cultural Understanding.

Dear Lord,

As I am about to face difficult situations in my life, I ask for your guidance and strength. Just as Paul asked the commanding officer for permission to speak, I ask for your permission to speak to you in prayer.

Lord, I may not know Greek, but I know that you understand the language of my heart. Help me to express my thoughts and feelings to you, and to listen for your response.

As Paul was brought into the barracks, he trusted in you to protect him. I too trust in your protection and provision for my life.

Thank you for always being there for me, and for hearing my prayers. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
