Prayer based on Psalms 118:9. Themes: Trust, Salvation, Sovereignty

Dear Yahweh,

I come to you today seeking refuge and protection. I know that it is better to put my trust in you than to rely on the strength and power of earthly princes. You are the one who holds all power and authority, and I know that I can find safety and security in your loving arms.

Please help me to remember this truth when I am tempted to put my faith in human leaders or worldly systems. Help me to trust in your wisdom and guidance, and to seek your will above all else.

Thank you for being my refuge and my strength. I pray that you will continue to guide me and protect me, now and always.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Psalms 118:9
