Prayer based on Acts 13:15. Themes: Exhortation, Prophets, Law
Dear Lord, after reading the law and the prophets, we come to you with humble hearts. We pray that you guide us in our words and actions, so that we may be a source of encouragement and inspiration to those around us. Just as the rulers of the synagogue asked for words of exhortation, we too ask for your guidance in sharing your message of love and hope with those who need it most. May our words be a reflection of your grace and mercy, and may they bring comfort and peace to those who hear them. In your holy name we pray, Amen.
Verse: After the reading of the law and the prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying, “Brothers, if you have any word of exhortation for the people, speak.”

This is a Command. The rulers of the synagogue are commanding the reader to speak if they have any word of exhortation for the people.
