Praying from Acts 21:11. Themes: Prophecy, Sacrifice, Persecution.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today with hearts full of gratitude and thanksgiving for the promises you have given us through your Holy Spirit. We claim the promise that you have revealed to us through the story of Paul’s belt.

Just as the Holy Spirit spoke to Paul, we pray that you would speak to us and guide us in all that we do. We ask that you would bind our feet and hands with your love and grace, so that we may walk in your ways and do your will.

We claim the promise that you will protect us from the hands of our enemies and deliver us into your loving arms. We trust in your unfailing love and faithfulness, and we know that you will never leave us nor forsake us.

Thank you for the gift of your Holy Spirit, and for the promises that you have given us. May we always trust in your word and follow your will, for you are our rock and our salvation.

In Jesus’ name we pray,

Amen.

Verse: Coming to us and taking Paul’s belt, he bound his own feet and hands, and said, “The Holy Spirit says: ‘ So the Jews at Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt, and will deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’”
Acts 21:11

This is a Promise. The verse is a prophecy about what will happen to the man who owns the belt. The Jews in Jerusalem will bind him and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.
