Dear Lord, as we gather together in your name, we pray that you would command us to stay in your presence and not depart from your will. Help us to wait patiently for the promise of the Father that you have spoken to us. May we be filled with your Holy Spirit and empowered to do your will. We trust in your promises and believe that you will fulfill them in your perfect timing. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Verse: Being assembled together with them, he commanded them,“Don’t depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which you heard from me.
Acts 1:4
