Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that you have given us in John 14:28. You have told us that you are going away, but you will come back to us. I claim this promise today and I trust that you will fulfill it in your perfect timing. I also rejoice in the fact that you are going to your Father, for the Father is greater than you. I pray that you will help me to love you more and more each day, so that I may always rejoice in your promises and trust in your plan for my life. Thank you for your love and faithfulness, and for the hope that you give us through your word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
