Praying from James 2:2 relating to Wealth, Equality, Judgment

Dear Lord, help us to see beyond the external appearances of those who enter our place of worship. May we welcome all with open hearts and minds, regardless of their social status or material possessions. Help us to treat everyone with the same love and respect, just as you have shown us. May our actions reflect your teachings and may we always strive to be a welcoming and inclusive community. Amen.

Verse: For if a man with a gold ring, in fine clothing, comes into your synagogue, and a poor man in filthy clothing also comes in,
James 2:2

This is a Command. The verse is instructing the reader to treat both the rich and poor equally in their place of worship.
