Prayer based on Psalms 135:15. Themes: Idolatry, Materialism, Creation

Dear God, we come before you humbly and acknowledge that the idols of the nations are made of silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. We pray that you would help us to recognize the futility of putting our trust in material possessions and worldly things. May we turn our hearts and minds towards you, the one true God, and seek to honor and worship you above all else. Help us to remember that true riches and blessings come from you alone. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Verse: The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
Psalms 135:15
