Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that I may always remember your words, “Call no man on the earth your father, for one is your Father, he who is in heaven.” Help me to honor and respect my earthly father, but to always look to you as my ultimate Father and source of guidance and love. May I seek your will above all else and trust in your unfailing love and wisdom. Thank you for being my Father in heaven. Amen.

Verse: Call no man on the earth your father, for one is your Father, he who is in heaven.
Matthew 23:9

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to not call any man on earth their father, as there is only one true Father in heaven.
