Dear Lord Jesus, I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and awe for the authority that you possess in heaven and on earth. I claim the promise that you have given us, that all authority has been given to you. I pray that you would help me to trust in your power and sovereignty in every aspect of my life. May I always remember that you are in control and that nothing is impossible for you. Thank you for your love and grace, and for the promise of your authority. In your holy name, I pray. Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse states that Jesus has been given all authority in heaven and on earth.
