Praying from Matthew 18:18. Themes: Authority, Power, Forgiveness.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving. I thank you for your love, your grace, and your mercy that you have shown me.

Lord, I pray that you would help me to understand the power that you have given me through your Son, Jesus Christ. I pray that you would help me to bind the things that are not of you and release the things that are.

I pray that you would give me the wisdom and discernment to know what needs to be bound and what needs to be released. I pray that you would guide me in all that I do and say, so that I may bring glory to your name.

Thank you, Lord, for the promise that whatever I bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever I release on earth will have been released in heaven. I pray that I would use this power wisely and for your glory.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Amen.

Verse: Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven.
Matthew 18:18

This is a Command. The verse instructs the reader to bind and release things on earth, with the assurance that these actions will have already been bound or released in heaven.
