Praying from Matthew 18:27. Themes: Forgiveness, Compassion, Mercy
Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise in Matthew 18:27. Just as the lord of the servant was moved with compassion and released him from his debt, I pray that you will also release me from any debts or burdens that I may be carrying. I ask for your forgiveness and mercy, knowing that you are a loving and compassionate God. Thank you for your grace and for always being there for me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him and forgave him the debt.
This is a Promise. The verse is a parable told by Jesus about a servant who was forgiven a large debt by his master. The promise is that the master, representing God, will show compassion and forgive those who owe him a debt.
