Praying from 1 Peter 1:17 relating to Fatherhood, Judgment, Foreigners

Dear Heavenly Father,

I call on you as my Father, knowing that you judge each person without respect of persons according to their work. Help me to live my life as a foreigner here on earth, with reverent fear and respect for you. May I always remember that this world is not my home and that my ultimate goal is to be with you in heaven. Guide me in all my actions and decisions, that I may honor you and bring glory to your name. Thank you for your love and grace, and for the privilege of being called your child. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: If you call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judges according to each man’s work, pass the time of your living as foreigners here in reverent fear,
1 Peter 1:17

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to pass the time of their living as foreigners here in reverent fear if they call on God as their Father.
