Dear God, please help me to let go of my attachment to material possessions and to be generous in giving to those in need. May I focus on building treasures in heaven that will never fade or be destroyed. Please guide me in creating a heart that is filled with love and compassion for others. Amen.

Verse: Sell what you have and give gifts to the needy. Make for yourselves purses which don’t grow old, a treasure in the heavens that doesn’t fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.
Luke 12:33
