Dear God, please help me to give generously to those in need with the resources that I have within me. May my heart be open to the needs of others and may I be willing to share what I have with those who are less fortunate. As I give to others, please cleanse my heart and make all things clean within me. Thank you for your love and grace. Amen.

Verse: But give for gifts to the needy those things which are within, and behold, all things will be clean to you.
Luke 11:41

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to give gifts to the needy from what they have within, and promises that doing so will result in cleanliness.
