Praying from 1 Corinthians 15:54. Themes: Resurrection, Victory, Immortality.

Dear Lord,

I thank you for the promise that when this perishable body becomes imperishable and this mortal puts on immortality, death will be swallowed up in victory. I claim this promise today and declare that death has no power over me because of your victory on the cross.

I pray that you would help me to live each day with the knowledge that I am a conqueror through Christ Jesus. May I never forget that death has been defeated and that I have eternal life in you.

Thank you for your love and grace that has made this promise possible. I trust in you and your promises, and I know that you will never fail me.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This is a Promise. The promise is that death will be defeated and swallowed up in victory when our mortal bodies become imperishable and immortal.
