Dear God, please help me to resist the temptation of sin and not let it reign in my mortal body. Give me the strength to obey your will and not give in to the desires of my flesh. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to you and to resist the lusts of this world. Thank you for your grace and mercy that empowers me to overcome sin. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: Therefore don’t let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
Romans 6:12
