Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise of resurrection of the dead. I claim this promise for myself and for my loved ones who have passed away. I believe that just as the body is sown perishable, it will be raised imperishable. I trust in your power to bring new life to those who have died and to transform their bodies into something glorious and eternal. Thank you for the hope that this promise brings and for the assurance that death is not the end. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
