Praying from Matthew 19:24. Themes: Wealth, Salvation, Difficulty.

Dear God, we come before you humbly and acknowledge that it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into your Kingdom. We pray that you would help us to let go of our attachment to material possessions and wealth, and instead focus on building treasures in heaven. May we seek first your Kingdom and your righteousness, and trust that you will provide for all our needs. Help us to be generous and compassionate towards those in need, and to use our resources to further your Kingdom on earth. We pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”
Matthew 19:24

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to recognize the difficulty for a rich person to enter God’s Kingdom.
