Praying from Luke 23:28. Themes: Suffering, Judgment, Warning.

Dear Lord Jesus,

As we journey through life, we often find ourselves weeping for our own struggles and challenges. But today, we turn to you and ask for your guidance and wisdom.

Help us to see beyond our own pain and sorrow, and to recognize the suffering of others around us. Give us the strength and courage to reach out and offer comfort and support to those in need.

We pray for the daughters of Jerusalem, and for all those who are facing difficult times. May they find peace and hope in your love and grace.

Thank you for your sacrifice on the cross, and for the gift of salvation that you offer to all who believe in you. May we always remember your words, and strive to live our lives in service to others.

In your holy name we pray,

Amen.

Verse: But Jesus, turning to them, said,“Daughters of Jerusalem, don’t weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.
Luke 23:28

This is a Command. The command is for the daughters of Jerusalem to weep for themselves and their children instead of weeping for Jesus.
