of protection and guidance:

Dear Lord,

I come to you today with a humble heart, seeking your protection and guidance. As I reflect on the verse, “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, like a hen gathers her own brood under her wings, and you refused!” I am reminded of your unwavering love and desire to protect us.

Lord, I claim the promise of protection and guidance that you offer. Just as a hen gathers her own brood under her wings, I ask that you gather me and my loved ones under your protective wings. Shield us from harm and guide us on the path that you have set before us.

I pray that we will not refuse your love and protection, but instead, we will embrace it with open hearts and minds. May we always seek your guidance and trust in your plan for our lives.

Thank you, Lord, for your never-ending love and protection. I pray that we will always feel your presence and know that we are safe under your wings.

In Jesus’ name, I pray,

Amen.
