Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that you have given us in your word. You have promised to gather together into one the children of God who are scattered abroad. I claim this promise for myself and for all those who are far from you. Lord, I pray that you would bring us all together as one family, united in your love and grace. Help us to see each other as brothers and sisters in Christ, and to work together for your kingdom. Thank you for your faithfulness and your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: and not for the nation only, but that he might also gather together into one the children of God who are scattered abroad.
