Praying from Matthew 16:21. Themes: Sacrifice, Resurrection, Redemption.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for showing your disciples that you must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up. I claim the promise of your resurrection and the victory over death that you have given us. Help me to trust in your plan for my life, even when it involves suffering and sacrifice. May I always remember that you are with me, and that your love and grace are more powerful than any trial I may face. Amen.

Verse: From that time, Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.
Matthew 16:21
