Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you have given us in your word. You have said that you will hand over your son to the Gentiles to mock, to scourge, and to crucify, but on the third day, he will be raised up. I believe in this promise, and I trust in your plan for my life. Help me to have faith in your promises, even when things seem difficult or uncertain. Thank you for your love and grace, and for the sacrifice of your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
