Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you have given us in your word. Though they may mock you, spit on you, scourge you, and even kill you, you have promised that on the third day you will rise again. I trust in your power and your love for us, and I know that you will fulfill this promise. Help me to remember this truth in times of trial and to always have faith in your resurrection power. Thank you for your sacrifice and for the hope that it brings. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
