Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that when we rise from the dead, we will be like angels in heaven, neither marrying nor being given in marriage. I claim this promise and trust in your word that you will make us perfect and holy in your sight. Help me to live my life in a way that honors you and prepares me for the eternal life that you have promised. May I always seek your will and follow your ways, knowing that you have prepared a place for me in heaven. Thank you for your love and grace, and for the hope that we have in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
