Prayer based on Luke 22:52. Themes: Suffering, Betrayal, Violence.

Dear Lord Jesus, we come before you humbly and with reverence. We ask for your guidance and protection as we face the challenges of this world. Just as you spoke to the chief priests, captains of the temple, and elders who came against you, we pray that you speak to our hearts and minds. Help us to understand that violence and aggression are not the answer, and that we must always seek peace and love in all that we do. May we never come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs, but instead, may we come out with love and compassion for all. We ask for your strength and wisdom to guide us on our journey, and we pray that you bless us with your grace and mercy. Amen.

Verse: Jesus said to the chief priests, captains of the temple, and elders, who had come against him,“Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?
Luke 22:52
