Praying from Acts 23:14. Themes: Persecution, Vow, Betrayal.
Dear Lord, we come before you with heavy hearts, just as those who came to the chief priests and elders with a great curse upon themselves. We bind ourselves to you, Lord, and pray that you give us the strength and courage to overcome any obstacles that may come our way. Help us to remain steadfast in our faith and to never waver in our commitment to you. We pray that you guide us in all our actions and decisions, and that we may always seek your will above all else. May we never be tempted to take matters into our own hands, but always trust in your divine plan for our lives. We pray for protection over our loved ones and for your mercy and grace to be upon us always. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Verse: They came to the chief priests and the elders, and said, “We have bound ourselves under a great curse to taste nothing until we have killed Paul.
