Dear Lord, please guide me in all that I do, so that no one may ever say that I have acted out of selfish ambition or for my own glory. Help me to always point others towards you and to baptize them in your name alone. May my actions always reflect your love and grace, and may I never seek recognition or praise for myself. Thank you for your constant presence and guidance in my life. Amen.

Verse: so that no one should say that I had baptized you into my own name.
1 Corinthians 1:15

This is a Command. The verse is a command to not attribute baptism to the name of the person performing the baptism, but rather to the name of Jesus.
