Praying from 1 Corinthians 1:13. Themes: Unity, Identity, Authority.

Dear Lord, we come before you today with humble hearts, asking for your guidance and wisdom. We pray that we may always remember that Christ is not divided, and that we are all one in Him. Help us to focus on the message of the Gospel, and not on the messenger. We pray that we may never forget that it was not Paul who was crucified for us, but rather it was your Son, Jesus Christ. May we always be baptized into His name, and may we always strive to follow His example. We ask for your forgiveness for any times when we have put our trust in human leaders instead of in you. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on you, and to always seek your will in all that we do. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Verse: Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized into the name of Paul?
1 Corinthians 1:13

This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to not be divided and to remember that they were baptized into the name of Christ, not any human leader.
