Prayer based on Matthew 27:22. Themes: Sacrifice, Betrayal, Judgment.

Dear Lord, as I reflect on the words of Pilate and the crowd who called for the crucifixion of Jesus, I am filled with sadness and remorse. I pray that I may never be swayed by the opinions of others or the pressures of the world to turn away from you. Help me to always stand firm in my faith and to never deny you, even in the face of persecution. May I always remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for me on the cross and strive to live a life that honors and glorifies you. Amen.

Verse: Pilate said to them, “What then shall I do to Jesus who is called Christ?” They all said to him, “Let him be crucified!”
Matthew 27:22

This is a Command: “Let him be crucified!”
