Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you have given us in Matthew 24:9. I know that there may be times when I will face oppression and even death for your name’s sake. But I trust in your promise that you will be with me always, even in the midst of persecution. Help me to stand firm in my faith and to never deny you, no matter what the cost. May I be a witness to your love and grace, even in the face of hatred from the nations. Thank you for your promise of eternal life and for the strength to endure all things for your sake. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
