Dear Lord,
Thank you for the promise that the Son of Man must suffer many things, be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. I claim this promise for myself and for all those who believe in you.
Help us to remember that even in our suffering and rejection, you are with us and will bring us through to new life. Give us the strength to endure and the faith to trust in your plan for our lives.
May we always remember the sacrifice that your Son made for us and may it inspire us to live lives of love and service to others.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
