Praying from James 2:18 relating to Faith, Works, Justification

Dear God, help me to understand that faith without works is dead. May my actions reflect the faith that I have in you. Let me not be content with just saying that I have faith, but let me show it through my deeds. May my works be a testimony of my faith in you. Help me to be a light in this world and to bring glory to your name. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: Yes, a man will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
James 2:18

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to show their faith through their actions, rather than just words.
