Praying from James 2:17 relating to Faith, Works, Dead

Dear God, please help me to have faith that is alive and active. May my faith be reflected in my actions and may I always strive to do good works in your name. Help me to be a light in this world and to make a positive impact on those around me. I pray that my faith will never be stagnant or lifeless, but always growing and flourishing. Thank you for your grace and guidance in my life. Amen.

Verse: Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself.
James 2:17

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to have faith with works, otherwise their faith is dead.
