Dear Lord, we thank you for the example of Abraham, our father, who was justified by his works. We pray that we may also have the faith and courage to offer up our own sacrifices to you, just as Abraham offered up his son Isaac on the altar. Help us to trust in your plan for our lives and to follow your will, even when it is difficult. May our actions be a reflection of our faith and may we always strive to do what is pleasing in your sight. Amen.
